Emperadora
2007 Lipizzan Mare
Emp, as she is commonly called, is a joy to work with. She will eventually be her moms (Precocia) replacement broodmare, but will first get started under saddle. She has an easy going mind, and loves learning new tricks, before the age of one she was already bowing and working on laying down! She has a playful and sometimes loud temperament, and really gets really animated in her movements! She is doing some work with the piaffe and spanish walk and has wowed a handful of people with a mini performance during the lunch break at the TLA fun show! She is also just beginning to work on the levade, she shows a natural tendency for it and the capriole! She has, freestyle, exhibited these airs, and is now learning to do the levade on cue and then quite. She is way too smart for her own good, and if not worked consistently, has a knack for amusing herself, such as very successfully walking thru fences! She also helps me out when doing round pen work with outside horses, she will follow around on the outside of the round pen, and every time I change the horses direction that I am working in the pen, she too changes, and then follows around again! She is so much fun to watch and work with, and just a fun personality that you have to laugh at!
